Job description

UK Vehicles Policy Officer

If you want to help answer these questions and turn your ideas into real-world impact, this could be the role for you. T&E (Transport &Environment) UK is looking for a Vehicles Policy Officer to help lead our work on the future of vehicles and road transport in the UK.

This role will shape and influence national government policies aimed at cutting emissions from cars, vans, and trucks in the UK. You’ll work on advancing vehicle electrification, phasing out polluting fuels, and promoting cleaner freight solutions. You will join a small, highly motivated UK team and collaborate closely with T&E’s Europe-wide experts in vehicles, freight, energy, and sustainable mobility. You’ll play a key role in developing and executing advocacy strategies, developing robust and data led policy positions, and engaging with UK decision makers and industry players to steer the transition to clean road transport.
